APPRECIATION

Appreciation is defined in two ways,and these definitions have a way of linking each other to produce results in the life of God's people. Let us quickly take  look at te definitions of appreciation;

• It is an expression of gratitude, and
• It is the increase in the value of a thing.

Looking at these definitions above from the light of God's word, we shall discover that it is God's commandment that we give thanks in everything and for everything. Thanksgiving is a requirement if altitude is our desire. Ps 92:1,2,12-15. Therefore living a life style of appreciation naturally qualifies us for supernatural lifting; But when we do otherwise we attract the opposite of appreciation, which is depreciation (Mal 2;1,2). Only a child that raises up his hand enjoys the lifting of the mother. When you remain grateful, God is committed to increasing you.

Scaling Heights.

Staying on high is God's plan and program for His people. He stays on high Himself so he wants His people on high. However for every of God's provisions there are conditions to be met. If we must stay on high therefore, it is expedient for us to know the requirements for us to get there.
It is in the light of this that we shall be exploring the principles of staying ABOVE. We shall take each letters of the word ABOVE and have acrostic for it, these we further our understanding on staying on high.
A= Appreciation;
B= Blessing;
O= Obedience;
V= Vision;
E= Expectation.
In the next edition, we shall take each of these words and justifiably explore them.
